Utah Rep. Trevor Lee is facing four felony charges after investigators allege he used forged employment documents and false income information to obtain a roughly $1 million mortgage.
The allegations include forgery, mortgage fraud, and communications fraud.
Lee has since resigned from the Utah Legislature, effective immediately.
