Woman hospitalized after falling off cliff on Mt. Timpanogos

A woman was hospitalized Monday after slipping near the summit of Mount Timpanogos and falling off a cliff.

According to initial reports, the woman landed on a small ledge following the fall, prompting a helicopter rescue operation.

Rescue crews successfully hoisted her from the mountainside before she was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

Her current condition and the extent of her injuries have not been confirmed.
