Tim Ballard claims LDS church excommunicated him to hide child abuse

Tim Ballard is making serious allegations against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, claiming church leaders excommunicated him in an effort to silence concerns he raised about alleged child abuse.

In a nearly four-hour video, Ballard also alleges church leadership attempted to interfere with his political ambitions, including a potential run for the U.S. Senate.
