Salt Lake City firefighter John Stevens dies after 16 years of service

The Salt Lake City Fire Department is mourning the loss of firefighter John “Johnny” Stevens, who passed away after 16 years of dedicated service to the community.

Stevens spent much of his career serving the Ballpark neighborhood out of Fire Station 8, where he helped protect residents and respond to emergencies throughout Salt Lake City.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fellow firefighters during this difficult time.
