utah pauses enforcement of age-verification law amid ongoing pornhub lawsuit
State and adult content platform reach temporary agreement while federal court weighs injunction request.

Utah's tough new age verification law is on pause... for now.
The state has agreed not to enforce the law requiring age verification on adult websites (and cracking down on VPNs used to bypass it) while a federal lawsuit from Pornhub's parent company plays out in court.
In exchange, Pornhub will keep blocking Utah IP addresses as it has been since the law passed.
A federal judge still hasn't ruled on whether the law will be blocked entirely. Until then, it's on hold.
