A former Breeze Airways employee is accused of stealing $6,808 from the Utah-based airline by allegedly adding 196 hours to his timesheet while suspended.

Prosecutors say 39-year-old Felix Odiott Beltran later tried to add another 196 hours before the payment was stopped. When Breeze sought repayment, the company was reportedly told Beltran had died by suicide. Police later learned he was alive and reportedly living in Florida.

Beltran now faces felony charges. The allegations have not been proven in court.
