YouTuber “Reckless Ben” is facing possible legal action after posting a video claiming he went undercover inside Provo Canyon School by posing as a teenager.
Ben Schneider, 30, says he spent two days inside the youth treatment facility while secretly documenting his experience. Universal Health Services, which owns Provo Canyon School, disputes the video’s portrayal of the facility and says it is considering legal action.
The video comes as Provo Canyon School faces a separate battle with Utah regulators. The state revoked the licenses of both campuses this summer, ordering the Provo campus to shut down by August 16. UHS has appealed the state’s decision.
