The LDS Church is speaking out about its legal battle with “Mormon Stories” podcast host John Dehlin.
The dispute centers on the podcast’s branding and use of the word “Mormon.” The Church says the case is about protecting its trademarks and preventing people from mistakenly believing Mormon Stories is affiliated with the Church not stopping Dehlin from using the word “Mormon” or criticizing the Church.
Dehlin has pushed back against the lawsuit as the federal legal battle continues.
