UPDATE: The Babylon Fire is now 100% contained after burning 107,188 acres in southeastern Utah.
Officials say the lightning-caused wildfire has been fully contained, allowing the Monticello Ranger District to reopen. Stage 2 fire restrictions remain in effect across the area.
A huge thank you to the firefighters and crews who spent weeks battling one of Utah’s largest wildfires this season.
