Bricks & Minifigs has reached a settlement with the Mansell family, ending their portion of the viral dispute surrounding a rare LEGO Star Wars collection.
According to a joint statement, the Mansell family has been compensated for losses tied to the consignment arrangement, and Bricks & Minifigs issued an apology for the losses and frustration the family experienced. The financial terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
The collection has widely been described as worth more than $200,000, although Bricks & Minifigs has disputed that valuation. The settlement is not an admission of liability or wrongdoing by either side.
The Mansells will release their legal claims against Bricks & Minifigs and related parties, while separate legal matters connected to YouTuber Reckless Ben and others remain ongoing.
