utah among lowest ranked states for attractive accents
A Preply survey of 2,551 Americans ranked Utah 44th for the nation's most attractive state accent, with just 0.55% of respondents choosing Utah.
Utah’s accent apparently isn’t winning over the rest of the country.
A new 2026 survey from Preply asked 2,551 Americans which states have the most attractive accents and Utah landed near the bottom at No. 44.
Just 0.55% of respondents selected Utah, while Louisiana took the top spot with 7.25% of the vote, followed by Texas and California.
The study surveyed adults across all 50 states between April 30 and May 8.
