man charged with terrorism after alleged threats over school board tax hike
Christopher Paul Nielsen, 58, allegedly said, "If this passes / will kill them all," referring to a Cache County School Board property tax increase of nearly 16%. He has been charged with terrorism and is being held without bail.
A 58-year-old Cache County man has been charged with terrorism after allegedly threatening to kill members of the Cache County School Board over a proposed property tax increase.
According to court documents, Christopher Paul Nielsen allegedly said, “If this passes I will kill them all,” while discussing the proposed nearly 16% tax increase.
Nielsen was arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail, where he is being held without bail.
