Ogden Man Sentenced After Throwing Puppies From Moving Car
Memphis Lor was sentenced to 120 days in jail after prosecutors said he threw six puppies from a vehicle traveling at highway speeds in Davis County.
25-year-old Memphis Lor of Ogden has been sentenced to 120 days in jail after pleading guilty in a Davis County animal abuse case where investigators say six puppies were thrown from a moving vehicle along US-89.
Officials say two of the puppies died from their injuries. Court records also show Lor was ordered to serve probation, complete a mental health evaluation, and is prohibited from owning companion animals during probation.
The case sparked outrage across Utah after the puppies were discovered along the highway and rescued by animal control and community members.
