Gov. Spencer Cox has declared a statewide drought emergency across Utah as dry conditions continue to worsen statewide. According to the governor, all 29 Utah counties are now in severe drought, with 22 counties classified under extreme drought conditions.

State officials are urging Utahns to conserve water heading into the hotter summer months as reservoirs, rivers, and snowpack levels continue to be impacted.
