A large apartment fire broke out Saturday evening at the Cascade Springs Apartments near 2812 W. 8580 S. in West Jordan.
Heavy flames could be seen shooting through the roof as firefighters from multiple agencies responded to battle the blaze. Residents were evacuated while crews worked to contain the fire, and people are being asked to avoid the area so emergency personnel can safely operate. Officials have not yet released information on injuries or what caused the fire.
