Utah’s unemployment rate remained below the national average in July.

According to the latest data, Utah’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held at 3.6%, compared with 4.1% nationwide.

Utah also continued to see year-over-year employment growth, with the state’s labor market remaining among the stronger in the country.

The 3.6% rate puts Utah in a tie for the 17th-lowest unemployment rate among states in July.
