The Salt Lake Tribune's analysis of federal records found more than 6,100 ICE arrests across northern Utah over the past 1½ years, with West Valley City recording the most.

ICE arrests across northern Utah have nearly tripled during President Donald Trump’s second term, according to a Salt Lake Tribune analysis of federal records.
More than 6,100 arrests were recorded across the region over roughly 20 months an average of more than 10 per day. West Valley City recorded the highest total, with more than 1,100 arrests.
The figures include both arrests made in the community and transfers of people already being held in custody.
