The city ordered Callaway merchandise removed from River Oaks Golf Course after a controversial Good Good ad depicted a woman being pushed to the ground.
Sandy City has pulled Callaway merchandise from the city-owned River Oaks Golf Course following backlash over a controversial Good Good Golf ad.
The since-deleted video showed Good Good co-founder Garrett Clark pushing Alexis Miestowski to the ground as she reached for a Callaway driver. The ad drew widespread criticism for its depiction of violence against women.
Callaway has since ended its partnership with Good Good, and Sandy officials say the removed merchandise will be replaced with other brands.
