Today marks one year since Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University in Orem on September 10, 2025.
Kirk, a conservative activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, was visiting campus for a speaking appearance. The shooting prompted an evacuation, a law enforcement investigation and the cancellation of classes as the university temporarily closed its campuses.
The anniversary marks a year since a deadly act of violence unfolded at a public event on a Utah college campus.
