Valar Atomics is proposing Project Beehive, a massive nuclear-powered data center development spanning more than 9,000 acres of BLM-managed public land near Price.

Plans call for roughly 456 small nuclear reactors producing a combined 9.6 gigawatts of power, alongside data centers and related nuclear facilities.

The federal project has not been approved. BLM is currently reviewing the application, and additional federal review and opportunities for public comment would be required before it moves forward.

Valar was also selected for the Trump administration’s Department of Energy Reactor Pilot Program.
