Utah Health Experts Warn About Risks of Kratom Use

University of Utah Health experts are warning about risks tied to some kratom products sold in vape shops and online, saying certain products may be highly potent, unregulated, and capable of causing addiction or overdose.

The warning comes as Utah’s new kratom restrictions officially took effect May 6, banning certain enhanced or synthetic-style kratom products statewide.
