Brandon Beckham, 51, was sentenced to 364 days in jail after being convicted of two felony counts of forcible sexual abuse stemming from a 2021 incident.
The case went through three trials before a jury convicted Beckham on two counts and acquitted him on a third. A judge suspended a potential prison sentence in favor of jail time and probation, and Beckham will be required to register as a sex offender.
Beckham previously ran as a Republican for Utah Senate District 23 in 2022.
